As a contemporary artist, Nagham Hodaifa’s work explores the human condition through the representation of the body but also through its absence (or disappearance). She explores questions of intimacy & desire, the interior & the physical, and nature & pollution. Hodaifa is drawn to the idea of thresholds, things that have an end to them, and the dichotomy present between birth and death and what is subsequently left behind to nature.

As a painter, she makes use of various materials and different techniques, materializing her work on many different scales. An adept of inter-disciplinary when creating her performances.
